Marquette Bank Holds Sixteenth Annual Adopt–a–Classroom Prize Drawing

Neighborhood bank awards $200 gift cards to 22 local classrooms

Orland Park, IL (December 17, 2024) –– Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, recently selected winners for its sixteenth annual Adopt-a-Classroom Prize Drawing. Customers, teachers and neighbors entered the drawing for a chance to win a $200 gift card used to benefit a local K-12 classroom of their choice.

Winners were chosen at random from entries at each of Marquette Bank’s 20 locations and two winners were chosen from Marquette Bank employee submissions. Using the gift cards, teachers purchased school supplies, books, and art supplies for their classrooms, while others said they would use the prize money to buy special classroom equipment or learning materials.

“The Adopt-a-Classroom prize drawing is one way Marquette Bank gives back to the students and teachers in our neighborhood,” Betty Kosky-Harn, Executive Vice President of Marquette Bank, said. “The teachers enjoy this $200 gift card because it allows them to do something special for their students that they previously were unable to do.”
