BBB Torch Awards for Ethics Winner - Marquette Bank

CHICAGO, IL — November 13, 2025 — Marquette Bank, a locally owned neighborhood bank, has been presented the 2025 Torch Award for Ethics, by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Chicago and Northern Illinois. The award was presented at the 29th Annual Torch Awards ceremony and Marquette Bank won for the 100 to 499 employee category.

This award is only given to a small handful of businesses each year from a field of over a hundred fully completed and vetted entries. The Torch Award spotlights companies that exemplify marketplace trust and excellence.

Steve Bernas, president and CEO of the BBB says, "The Torch Award is the premier award the BBB can present to a company. While the BBB seal is “The Sign of a Better Business,” Torch Award winners demonstrate extraordinary ethical standards of trust and behavior. These companies represent the highest level of dedication to four key attributes including character, culture, customers, and community."

Betty Harn, President and CEO of Marquette Bank said, "We are truly honored to be recognized with the 2025 BBB Torch Award for Ethics. This award reflects our dedication to fostering a culture of trust and integrity at Marquette Bank. We understand that serving our neighbors, customers, and neighborhood with the highest ethical standards is not just a responsibility, but our promise to everyone we help."
